The Ministry of Imagination is converging for a singing foray/pilgrimage in the wonderfully resonant Blue Ridge Tunnel in Afton this Wednesday evening. We'll give voice to some haunting songs and chants well suited to the amazing acoustics of the tunnel! Meet at 6:50 pm at the Afton trailhead. If you arrive a little late, just head for the tunnel entry. The trail's well marked... you'll find us easily enough. It's about a 15 minute walk along an easy trail to the entrance to the tunnel. The ground can be a bit wet inside the tunnel. Wear sturdy shoes! We will only walk part way into the mile long tunnel, singing in place in a few well suited spots. We'll return to the parking area by 8:30 pm at latest. RSVP to let us know you’re coming. Carpooling available.
