Rivanna Contra Dance and the Charis Community are holding a monthly Contra Dance at Grace Church | Red Hill.

Entry Fee: Minimum $10 donation

Beginner lesson from 7-7:30 pm; Dancing from 7:30-10 pm

COVID Safety Protocols:
Bring proof of COVID vaccination or proof of negative Covid test required at door.
N95 or KN95 mask required. Masks must be worn over nose and mouth. Additional masks available at the door.

Parking: Park along Red Hill Depot Road next to the church.

Description: Contra dancing is a style of folk dance made up of long lines of couples. This is a beginner-friendly dance with a lesson from 7-7:30 and a caller giving instructions throughout. Come with or with out friends - there will be plenty of people to dance with. All ages and all skill levels are welcome. We strive to be a friendly and inclusive community that enjoys listening and dancing to live music.
