Looking Through Windows: A Lenten Poetry Workshop

A window is a liminal threshold, inviting us to look inside and out. A site for dreaming, expectation, fear, grief, joy, shuttered, broken, painted, repaired, curtained, windows welcome perception, and encourage a sense of self and world. The season of Lent (a time of penance and mindfulness between Epiphany and Easter) is a window-like period of introspection and observation. In this workshop with Lisa Russ Spaar, participants will explore the concept of “window experiences” to generate a trio of short Lenten poems. Register here. There is no cost for this workshop.
