Starting on Sunday, April 21, from 12:00-1:30, the book club will meet monthly to discuss a book related to social justice. 

The idea for this group emerged from members of the congregation that participated in the Roots Deeper than Whiteness course, in autumn 2023, who found the intimate intellectual learning and discussion deeply fulfilling. Members of the book club will take turns convening the meetings and facilitating discussions. Discussion topics will vary from book to book but some basic prompts might be: How did this book impact you? What lingering questions did this book leave you with? How do the learnings in this book interact with your faith? While we hope that there will be some regular faces, we will announce the book each month to the wider church community and people will be welcome to join if that particular topic piques their interest. The first meeting on April 21, which will include a simple lunch, will be more of an info session.  Please email Bekah with your interest in the club so we can gage potential participation:  rimenning@gmail.com
